The school admits boys and girls subject to the availability of seats, irrespective of any distinction for caste, creed, community or social status

  • A child seeking admission has to be registered first by paying a fee of Rs. 200. Thereafter he/she is given a written test in English, Malayalam, Hindi, Maths and General Science.

  • Pupils coming from states outside Kerala will have to get their TC counter-signed by the District Educational Officer of the concerned state where the school is situated.
  • The school authorities reserve the right to refuse admission to a pupil without assigning any reason. They also reserve the right to dismiss a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students or whose parents show little interest in the progress of their wards.
  • For each course of study fresh registration should be made and application submitted afresh and admission obtained separately. A promoted UKG student should register his name afresh to gain admission to Class I and a Class X passed student should register his/her name fresh to gain admission to Class XI. In all classes, the admission is given at the discretion of the Principal.


Generally, withdrawals are not permitted except at the end of the school year unless such withdrawals are warrantied by the transfer of the parents/guardians to other places, in which case, notice of withdrawal must be given in writing a week in advance. The transfer certificate will not be issued unless all dues to the school have been paid.

Parents, guardians and students are requested to co-operate with the school in observance of all rules and regulations laid down below and those announced by the school authorities as and when they are required.

  • Each student must have a diary, which should be brought to the school daily. No student will be allowed to sit in the class without the school diary, text books and other necessary notebooks.
  • Pupils should wear the school uniform on all working days. All dresses should be neat, tidy and modest. Pupils should not wear gold ornaments any day.
  • Pupils should be punctual.
  • Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. The school will not entertain any claim for the loss of money, books, ornaments etc. The belongings of the students should be labeled properly.
  • Pupils shall come prepared for class assignments.
  • Pupils shall guard school property as their own. The damage/loss of the school property or that of the other students should be compensated by the students who are responsible for such loss/ damage.
  • Pupils shall follow the instructions given by the teachers.
  • Pupils shall be self-disciplined, well-behaved, obedient, regular and courteous in school as well as outside.
  • Every pupil shall greet the teachers when he/she sees him/her for the first time in school or outside everyday.
  • Every pupil should keep silence in the class rooms during supervised study in the morning. At that time pupils should not be found talking, playing or loitering in the compound.
  • Pupils from one class are not allowed to enter other classrooms at any time.
  • Playing, making noise and such other activities in and outside the classrooms which disturb other classes are strictly prohibited during class hours.
  • Everyone should attend the morning assembly. Their movement from the class to assembly and back should be in an orderly manner. Pupils should move silently but smartly in single line under the guidance of the class teacher or class leader. Exemption from attending the morning assembly if necessary should be obtained from the class teacher.
  • Pupils should not move about at the time of prayer and should be in attention when the National Anthem is sung.
  • Every pupil is expected to speak English in the school campus and classrooms.
  • Every student should work hard and try to be a model to others in their turnout, studies, games, literary activities, behaviour and general conduct. They should endeavour their best to boost their moral and tone of the school.
  • Exchange of articles and money and other transactions between students are not allowed.
  • Students are not permitted to bring to the school periodicals unrelated to school topics, CDs, DVDs, cassettes that are not relevant to the subjects taught, mobile phones, walkman sets etc.
  • Personal cleanliness and tidiness are expected from all. Pupils should not throw papers and other rubbish anywhere in the school except in the bins provided for that purpose. Scribbling on the walls, doors and windows is strictly prohibited. Spitting and washing through the windows is also forbidden.
  • Students suffering from any contagious infectious diseases will not be allowed to attend the school.
  • Pupils may not be called to the phone during class hours.
  • Students are not permitted to entertain the teachers with gifts.
  • Students are not allowed to celebrate their birthdays in the school with lay dresses, cakes, sweets or any such items
  • No student will be sent home during the class hours, unless a duly authorized person comes to take him/her.
  • The Principal's permission is required:
    1. o leave the school premises during school hours.
    2. to collect money for any purpose whatever.
    3. to arrange for a party, picnic or meeting.
    4. to join a sports meet or to play in a game not arranged by the school.
    5. to give presents to teachers or to conduct stage demonstrations in their honour.
    6. to take part in any competition or activity conducted by an external agency.
    7. to form associations, to distribute literature of any kind.
  • The following are strictly forbidden. Any violation of these rules will result in dismissal or suspension from the school.
    1. Ragging of any kind inside or outside the campus.
    2. Any kind of wild, noisy and disturbing behaviour or celebrations in the campus.
    3. Smoking in the campus.
    4. Possession/Use of drugs, alcohol or peddling drugs in the campus or anywhere else.
    5. Causing damage to the institution or public property.
  • No one may take any books from the library before having it entered in the register kept for that purpose.
  • A book may not be kept beyond a fortnight unless not being in demand. It is again registered for a fortnight on such renewal. However the book must be produced.3. Books taken by the students shall not be retained for more than 15
  • Books taken by the students shall not be retained for more than 15 days from the date of issue.
  • Failure to return the book on the due date entails the student to pay a fine of Rs.5/- per day for delay. All such fine should be paid to the librarian.
  • Borrowers of library books should handle the books with care and keep them tidy. They should abstain from writing remarks in the books, tearing pages, removing pictures and other such acts. They shall be held responsible for any loss or damage of books and shall be dealt seriously.
  • If any book is lost or damaged, the borrower shall be required to replace it with fine or pay its compensation as fixed by the Principal.
  • Talking inside the library is strictly prohibited.
  • Reference books shall be lent for a week, to members of teaching staff only.
  • Donation of old and new books from parents, teachers, pupils and other organizations is highly appreciated.
  • Pupils of various classes are advised to donate newspapers or second-hand periodicals to the reading room, which will also be appreciated and rewarded.
  • Donation of library books is welcomed on the date of birthdays of the pupils instead of distributing sweets. Their names will be published in the notice board of the library along with the list of books donated to the library.
  • Every pupil should attend the class regularly.
  • Leave will be sanctioned on genuine reasons. Request for leave must be noted in the diary and attested by the parent/guardian / warden.
  • Continuous absence without leave application for 15 working days will lead to the removal from rolls.
  • A pupil may not be allowed to sit for annual examination if he / she has not put in a minimum of 85% of the total attendance of the academic year.

Parents and pupils who require various certificates like transfer certificate, conduct certificate etc. are to submit application for them in writing at least 5 working days in advance.

  • The school provides transportation facilities to students. Children who want to use the school bus facility should apply for it to the Principal at the beginning of the academic year.
  • A Conveyance fee is charged for the entire academic year. Hence even if a student discontinues using the conveyance provided by the school before the conclusion of the academic year he/she will have to pay the conveyance fee for the remaining months of that academic year also.
  • Nobody without a valid bus pass will be allowed to board the bus. Loss of the pass shall be reported promptly to the office.
  • Coming by school bus is an occasion for the pupils to cultivate good habits like patience, forbearance, tolerance, sympathy, team spirit, co-operation and consideration for others.
  • Gentlemanly behaviour and disciplined conduct are expected of all the students at the boarding points where they wait for bus as well as inside the bus Convenience of others should be given importance.
  • Singing or shouting, throwing articles out of the bus or making comments on the people outside are not allowed in the school bus.
  • Putting hands, head or elbows outside is strictly forbidden. All are expected to speak English in the school bus.
  • In order to maintain order and discipline in the bus, students are to co-operate with the bus staff.
  • Strong and prompt disciplinary action will be taken against the students who do not behave themselves in the bus.
  • If the school bus fails to ply on any day on account of some unforeseen reason, the students should come to the school by other means. No complaint will be entertained on such issues.
  • Those who avail themselves of the school bus facilities must pay the bus fee for the full academic year.
  • Bus fee should be paid before 10th of every month.

All students must come to the school in the uniform prescribed below:

Classes V to XII

On regular days except Fridays, all should wear peach socks and black shoe, and on Fridays white socks and black shoe. The school uniform must be strictly followed in accordance with the pattern prescribed by the school.
